Bio

Tim Kieschnick has spent over 20 years developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that put technology-based tools into the hands of health care consumers and purchasers. Tim created the strategy that has resulted in over 3,000,000 Kaiser Permanente members interacting with their physicians and medical records online.

Tim has led User Experience, Web Analytics, Product Management, and Strategy with Kaiser Permanente’s Internet Services Group and National Member Technology Group. He has consulted with a wide variety of groups on the use of technology to support health education, shared decision-making, and access to health services. He is co-author of the Health Informatics Directory and regularly presents to diverse audiences on the role of consumer-oriented technology in health care.

Tim’s current work focuses on mobile strategy, health care reform, and eHealth equity.
